Here it finally is. My best attempt at a hat so far.

What do you think? Do you love it? I think it turned out really well. Owen was kind enough to model it for me even though he wasn't feeling very well. I actually made it small for Owen's head, but apparently I knit pretty big because once again, there is "room to grow". At least it will fit him for a while. He picked out the yarn himself. I think he did a good job!

Now that my family is finally getting over the flu, and I have enough energy to post, here are some long awaited photos from Darren and Robin's wedding.

Aren't they a beautiful couple? I'm so happy. Oh! And check out these three hotties.....

What else can I say except....hubba hubba! And here is me and my terminator...

(Don't you think he looks kinda like the Terminator with those glasses on?) There aren't alot of pictures of Aidan and I together, so I thought I would share one that wasn't too bad! However, I may have forgotten to suck in my gut in this one!

And of course, my crazy father and loon of a sister...

Nice glasses guys! Here my beautiful mother is keeping dad in line...

Ohhhh, young love!

So that is a brief look at a fantastic day! Not a lot else has happened in the last little bit. We were all home for a week with that nasty virus, I'm so glad we are starting to recover now. It is really hard to look after little ones when you are feeling really crappy too! I have my very first sweater on my needles right now. I'll post more of that at a later date. Hopefully it turns out. Take care everyone!

Great Weekend!

We had a really wonderful weekend, my brother Darren got married! I still can't believe it, my baby brother is now a husband, and soon to be father. He's all grown up! And I couldn't be happier with who he chose as a wife! Robin has already felt like a real member of our family for some time now, so we are really happy now it's official!
My brother Dave and his family stayed with us over the weekend for the wedding. Owen and his cousin Brooklyn got along really well. They were so cute together, and had a blast at the wedding. It was a really fun day, I was exhausted....and a little tipsy (along with Melissa! Heehee) by the end of the night. It was nice. Now everyone has gone home and it is quiet again, which is probably good because my family is all sick now. There are some really nasty bugs going around!
I have completed another hat for Owen this time, it turned out really good, I'll post a picture when I have time to take one. I am so tired......I need to go lay down.
